Breathe is a blend of herbs to help support the respiratory system. Mullein has historically been used for the lungs, supporting them through coughs and whatnot; the Elder is used to warm you up; Stinging Nettle and while Marshmallow Root can soothe inflammation. All in all, these herbs go together like you and Ivy's Tea Co.
- 1.5 oz, approximately 13 single servings of tea

Mullein: This fluffy herb doesn't look that great when it's dried, but it works. Mullein contains flavonoids, mucilage, gum, resin, bitter glycosides, iridoid monterpenes, triterpene saponins, and volatile oils. You don't know what those are? They're the good stuff. Trust us. Because of its composition, Mullein brings water to those hard spaces, typically characterized by dry, ticklish coughs that irritate you to no end. Mullein has this way of opening the lungs and sinuses, reducing coughs, and relaxing the throat (not like that, boo). As a result, you're left feeling more open, more settled, and calmer. Mullein has been used for sinusitis, sore throat, hoarseness, tonsilitis, allergies, bronchitis, dry cough, and achiness characterized by weak, swollen joints.
Marshmallow: Like Mullein (mentioned above), Marshmallow contains mucilage, but it's also got pectin, sugars, flavonoids, tannins, salt, and phenolic acid. These properties make Marshmallow a moistening and soothing herb that's anti-inflammatory. Marshmallow is typically used for sore throat, swollen glands, dry cough, congestion, and bronchitis, but it has also been used for high blood pressure, water retention, and diabetes.
Ginger Root: Everybody knows about Ginger Root, it's a warm and stimulating. Typically used for common cold, postnasal drip, flu, sore throat, fever and chills, swollen glands, dry cough, low appetite, indigestion, flatulence, nausea, sore muscles, period cramps, headaches, migraines, motion sickness, and low energy
Elder Flower: A lot of people know all about Elderberries, but the flower doesn't get much love, which is unfortunate. Elder Flower contains volatile oils, coumarins, bitters, flavonoids, sterols, mucilage, and tannins that your body needs to do its best work. The herb is cooling, immune boosting, and soothing. Along with its sedative properties, Elder Flower has long been used for supporting immunity, fever, achy body, and flu.
Stinging Nettle: Inflammation is your body's way of fighting infection. Stinging Nettle is anti-inflammatory.
