Red Bone

Red Bone is a mix of sweet and spicy herbs that you need to improve your mood. Definitely a good idea as the temps drop - this tea warms you from the inside out. So, brew your tea and sip it slowly before you head out to shovel or warm the car up. Yeah...it's that time of year again.

Product Details:

  • 1.0 ounce of tea, approximately 14 single servings of tea
  • Caffeine content: None - this tea is completely herbal
  • Red Bone can be steeped twice, meaning, you can get two 8 ounce cups of tea from a single serving of Red Bone.

Taste:

Spicy, sour, sweet, and a bit lemony.

Ingredients:

Cranberries: Cranberry is probably most well-known as a popular urinary tract infection (UTI) remedy. Many use the fresh juice (it's super tart!) or the pills to help them clear up UTIs. The proanthocyanidins, which give cranberries that red color, are antioxidants that studies show reverse cell damage.

Hibiscus: Widely used in the Middle East (when do we start calling it upper Africa?) and Ayurvedic medicine, Hibiscus is very high in Vitamin C and that's partly why it's so popular. Often used for cold, flu, cough, fever, and stomach pain.

Lemon Peel: Lemon regulates blood pressure, lowers blood sugar levels, and makes it easier to concentrate. Lemon is used for sore throat, cold, fever, flu, bronchitis, asthma, digestive disorders, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, arthritis, gout, and sunstroke. Lemon has also been used for sugar cravings. We all need help with that.

Chili: Chili peppers are full of vitamins and minerals, like Vitamins C, B6, K1, and A, potassium, copper, and beta carotene. Chili is also full of capsanthin, which has antioxidants, too, and is often used for weight loss. It also has capsaicin, which might promote weight loss by reducing appetite and increasing fat burn.

      Pairs Well With:

      • Shmoney, our orange infused honey
      • Lifetime movies, especially the ones with a cheating spouse...we don't know why.
